Wire Wrapped Beaded Frame Pendant – Beaded Wire Weaving Pendant Tutorial

Description

This lesson teaches you to make a beaded frame for a pendant. Though it is shown on a teardrop shaped bead, it can easily be adapted to work with almost any shape of bead, including crystal points. Also, if you prefer a frame without beads, you can leave them out of the weave for a simpler look. You could even use a different style of weave for the frame.

With a little bit of imagination, and few changes here and there, you can create a limitless number of pieces using the techniques in this tutorial.

The stone used for the pendant I made while illustrating this tutorial is a titanium druzy teardrop.

Skill Level:
Intermediate

Materials:

•1 Teardrop shaped bead – Must be top side drilled (other shapes can be used for this lesson with a few adaptations)
•20g Round Soft Wire (amount depends on size of bead)
•28g Round Soft Wire (amount depends on size of bead)
•2mm beads (amount depends on size of focal bead)

Tools:

•Chain nose pliers
•Round nose pliers
•Wire cutters
•Flat nose pliers
•Ruler
•Marker
