Teardrops and Filigree Wire Wrapped Pendant Tutorial

$2.83

Description

From this tutorial, you will learn to make a stylish wire wrapped filigree pendant. You can easily change the look of this pendant by using different types of charms to hang from it, choosing different metals, or even adding beads in different places.

This lesson calls for 3 “dangles” to hang from the bottom of the pendant. For the pendant I’m making to illustrate the tutorial, I’m using wire wrapped briolettes. However, you can also use bead clusters or other charms as well.

If you need instructions or ideas for making charms for this pendant there is a link to a free tutorial for briolettes and bead clusters in the PDF file.

This lesson is listed as being in the “intermediate” category, however I would say it falls in between “easy” and “intermediate”. As such, this would be a great tutorial for jewelry artists who are transitioning between those two stages.

The first and last pictures are the pendant that was used to illustrate this lesson. The rest are variations of this technique.
