Brick Stitch Weave Bracelet – Wirewrapped Bracelet Tutorial

$3.73

Description

In this lesson you will learn to make a simple looking bracelet using a weave which, when done correctly, looks similar to an embroidered brick stitch. Though I am using a bracelet for teaching the weave, it can actually be used for many other projects.

For stability, the bracelet is made with 16g frame wires. To keep the weave proportional to the frame wires, the weaving is done with 24g wire. If you have a hard time weaving with such thick wire, you could also try using 26g wire, however, it will alter the look of the finished weave.

Part of the beauty of this weave though, is that you can achieve very different looks simply by varying the thicknesses of the wires that you use. Just keep in mind that if you choose to make a bracelet with anything thinner than 16g frame wires, you will be better off adding a clasp and making a bangle bracelet rather than a cuff bracelet.
